Data Deletion Instructions

Important: LifeCapsule stores data locally

LifeCapsule does not use user accounts, cloud servers, analytics, or advertising. Your capsules, photos, videos, and voice notes stay only on your device.

SWEAF® does not have access to your content and cannot delete it remotely.

Option 1: Delete items inside the app

If LifeCapsule provides a delete option in the app UI, you can delete individual capsules, predictions, or Time Traveler entries from within the app.

Option 2: Clear app data (Android)

This removes all locally stored LifeCapsule data from your phone:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Apps → LifeCapsule
  3. Tap Storage
  4. Tap Clear Data (or "Clear Storage")

Option 3: Uninstall the app

Uninstalling LifeCapsule deletes the app and its local storage from your device.

Note about exported files

If you exported capsules as ZIP or created backup files, those exported files may exist outside the app (for example, in Downloads, Files app, Email, Google Drive, etc.).

To delete exported files, remove them manually from where you saved or shared them.
