Our Native Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Our Native mobile application and related services ("App"). The App is operated by SWEAF ("we", "our", or "us").

By using Our Native, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Our Native is a village community platform designed to help community members connect, share updates, preserve memories, discover events, request help, and participate in local community life.

The App is intended for respectful, community-focused communication.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account and complete profile setup.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Keep your account secure
  • Use your own account only
  • Not impersonate another person
  • Not misuse another user's identity, photo, village, or community details

Access to a community may require approval by an admin or authorised reviewer.

3. Community Approval and Roles

Our Native may use approval-based access. Users may have different roles such as member, admin, moderator, or other authorised roles.

Admins and moderators may review, approve, reject, restrict, suspend, or remove content or accounts according to community safety requirements and App rules.

We may also restrict access where misuse, abuse, spam, fraud, unsafe conduct, or policy violations are suspected.

Admins, moderators, and authorised reviewers act only within App community operations and do not represent government authorities, emergency responders, law enforcement, or public institutions.

Community decisions may include approval, rejection, moderation actions, visibility controls, temporary restrictions, or account suspension according to community and platform rules.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Post illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content
  • Share obscene, sexually explicit, or exploitative material
  • Spread spam, scams, fraud, or misleading information
  • Violate another person's privacy
  • Upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other rights
  • Share another person's private information without permission
  • Misuse help requests, event posts, reports, or admin tools
  • Attempt to bypass security, approval, suspension, or moderation controls
  • Use the App for political propaganda, inflammatory campaigning, or activity that disrupts community harmony
  • Use the App in any way that violates law or Google Play policies

5. User Content

You are responsible for the content you submit, including posts, comments, memories, photos, events, help requests, reports, and profile information.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to share it
  • It does not violate law or third-party rights
  • It is accurate to the best of your knowledge where factual
  • It is appropriate for a community platform

You retain ownership of your content. However, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, display, process, moderate, and distribute your content within the App for operating and improving the service.

Users should avoid uploading highly sensitive personal information, financial information, identity documents, or content they would not want visible within community spaces.

If account deletion occurs, previously submitted community content may remain available in anonymised form where necessary for moderation integrity, safety, audit history, legal obligations, or community continuity.

6. Moderation

We may moderate, restrict, hide, remove, or review content at our discretion to protect users and communities.

Content may be reviewed by automated systems, admins, moderators, or authorised reviewers.

Content may be reviewed using automated safety systems together with actions by admins, moderators, or authorised reviewers.

Moderation actions may include approval, rejection, warnings, visibility reduction, removal, feature restriction, suspension, anonymisation, or account access limitation.

Repeated violations, abusive reporting, impersonation, spam, attempts to bypass moderation controls, or unsafe behaviour may result in temporary or permanent restrictions.

We do not guarantee that all objectionable content will be detected immediately.

7. Help Requests and Community Support

The App may allow users to post help requests. These requests are community coordination tools only.

We do not guarantee that help will be provided, that information in help requests is verified, or that emergency support will be available through the App.

For medical, police, fire, legal, or other emergencies, contact the appropriate official emergency service directly.

8. Events and Community Information

Users or authorised members may create event posts or community information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, safety, or outcome of events or community activities listed in the App.

Users participate in events at their own discretion and responsibility.

9. Payments, Subscriptions, and Contributions

The App is currently offered as a free app.

If paid features, subscriptions, support contributions, or donations are introduced in the future, they will be presented clearly before purchase and handled according to applicable Google Play, payment, tax, refund, and legal requirements.

Do not make any payment unless it is shown through an authorised and policy-compliant payment flow.

11. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe that:

  • You violated these Terms
  • You misused the App
  • You created risk for other users or communities
  • Your account is involved in spam, fraud, abuse, or unsafe activity
  • Required by law, platform policy, or security reasons

You may stop using the App at any time and may request account deletion.

Account deletion may revoke access and anonymise profile information while preserving certain community records where required for safety, moderation, legal compliance, or audit purposes.

12. Intellectual Property

The App, design, name, logo, software, features, and related materials belong to SWEAF or its licensors, except for user content.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, or misuse the App or its branding without permission.

13. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for authentication, hosting, database, storage, moderation, communication, and related technical infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party service outages, policies, or actions beyond our reasonable control.

14. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will always be available or error-free
  • All content will be accurate or complete
  • All harmful content will be immediately detected
  • Community help, events, or information will produce any specific result

Use the App responsibly and verify important information independently.

Users remain responsible for maintaining copies of content they consider important. We do not guarantee permanent preservation, recovery, or uninterrupted availability of user submissions.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SWEAF will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Our liability, if any, will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App, features, policies, or these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
