Terms of Use for Proof Note

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Proof Note mobile application and related support pages provided by SWEAF®. By using Proof Note, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Proof Note does

Proof Note is a local-first tool that helps users create, organize, store, review, export, and share personal records using text, photos, video, voice, timestamps, proof types, templates, and optional location information.

2. Permitted use

You may use Proof Note for lawful personal, household, professional, administrative, property, delivery, travel, documentation, and similar recordkeeping purposes.

You agree not to use Proof Note:

• for unlawful activity,
• to infringe others' rights,
• to harass, defame, stalk, threaten, or abuse others,
• to create fraudulent, misleading, manipulated, or deceptive records for improper use,
• or to violate applicable law, regulation, court order, or workplace rule.

3. User responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the content you create, import, export, share, store, or rely on through Proof Note. That includes the accuracy, completeness, legality, timeliness, and appropriateness of your proof records.

SWEAF® does not review all user content and does not verify whether the records you create are true, complete, admissible, authentic, or fit for a specific legal, commercial, regulatory, employment, insurance, or evidentiary purpose.

4. No legal, forensic, professional, or court guarantee

Proof Note is a consumer support and organization tool. It is not:

• legal advice,
• a law-firm service,
• a certified forensic solution,
• a chain-of-custody solution,
• a public record or notarization service,
• a professional evidence-authentication service,
• or a guarantee that your records will be accepted by courts, employers, insurers, landlords, payment platforms, authorities, or any third party.

If you need legal, forensic, regulated, or professional advice, you should consult a qualified professional.

5. Local storage and user control

Proof Note is designed primarily for local use on your device. You are responsible for:

• protecting your device,
• managing exports and backups,
• choosing where to share files,
• and maintaining copies you wish to keep.

Loss of access to your device, deletion of local files, third-party app behavior, OS resets, or device failure may result in loss of records.

6. Premium features and purchases

Proof Note may offer a one-time premium unlock through Google Play. That unlock may include features such as:

• unlimited proof records,
• export and import of backups,
• custom proof types,
• custom proof templates,
• and export/share functions.

Purchases are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google's billing terms, availability, pricing, taxes, refunds, and platform rules. One-time products are a supported Play Billing model for permanent benefits.

Unless required by applicable law or platform policy, SWEAF® does not independently guarantee refunds beyond what is available through Google Play or applicable consumer law.

7. Availability and feature changes

SWEAF® may update, improve, suspend, or modify features of Proof Note from time to time, including templates, proof types, onboarding, UI, premium packaging, or feature availability.

8. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proof Note is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SWEAF® will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of records, lost profits, missed claims, failed disputes, reputational harm, business interruption, or any legal or commercial consequence arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on Proof Note.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SWEAF® from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Proof Note, your content, or your violation of law or these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

Proof Note, its branding, logos, interface elements, and related materials are owned by or licensed to SWEAF®, except for third-party components used under their respective licenses.

12. Privacy

Your use of Proof Note is also subject to the Proof Note Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the developer's place of business, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
