Terms of Service for AskDad

These Terms govern your use of AskDad, developed by SWEAF®. By creating an account or using AskDad, you agree to these Terms and the AskDad Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose

AskDad provides AI-generated, values-oriented guidance for reflection and everyday decision-making. It is an informational tool and does not replace your own judgment.

2. AI Limitations

Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. AskDad does not guarantee factual accuracy or a particular outcome.

3. No Professional Advice

AskDad does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, emergency, religious, or other licensed professional advice. Consult an appropriately qualified professional before making decisions involving health, safety, legal rights, money, or serious personal consequences.

4. Emergencies

AskDad is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis-support service immediately.

5. Eligibility

AskDad is not directed to children under 13. Users below the age of legal majority must have permission and appropriate supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

6. Account Responsibility

You must provide a valid email address, protect authentication codes and credentials, and notify SWEAF® if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use AskDad to:

• create unlawful, abusive, exploitative, hateful, or sexually abusive content
• promote violence, self-harm, child endangerment, deception, or fraud
• invade privacy or infringe another person's rights
• bypass safety systems or request limits
• reverse engineer or interfere with the service
• misuse another person's account or data

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant SWEAF® a limited right to host, process, transmit, moderate, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve AskDad and comply with law.

9. AI Reports and Moderation

AskDad may block prompts, enforce daily limits, and review user-submitted reports. SWEAF® may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or serious violations of these Terms.

10. Availability

AskDad may change models, features, limits, providers, or availability. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages, security incidents, or circumstances outside SWEAF®'s control.

11. Intellectual Property

AskDad software, interface, design, branding, and SWEAF® names and logos belong to SWEAF® or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials.

12. Disclaimer

AskDad is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties except where they cannot legally be excluded. SWEAF® does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free responses, or fitness for a particular decision.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SWEAF® will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or reliance on AskDad. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Termination and Deletion

You may stop using AskDad at any time and request account deletion. SWEAF® may suspend access for material violations, abuse, security risk, or legal necessity. Account deletion is governed by the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available under applicable local law. Disputes will be handled by courts of competent jurisdiction in India unless applicable law requires otherwise.
